What is Doushaey?

A complete douche kit, packed into one compact sealed sachet.
Each sealed Doushaey sachet contains a 200 ml soft pouch and a 20 cm flexible silicone hose. Small enough to take with you, easy to fill when you need it, and designed to give you more control with less interruption.

How Doushaey Works

The same douching process, made easier to handle.
Doushaey lets you insert from the front, and stay seated while you douche. One hand controls the water flow while the other keeps the hose in place. When you are finished, simply dispose of the pouch and hose instead of washing, drying and storing a reusable bulb.

1. No reaching behind. Insert from the front.

Doushaey allows you to guide the hose into your anus from the front while sitting on the toilet. Unlike a reusable bulb, there is no need to stand up and awkwardly reach behind or underneath your body.

2. Stay seated. Remain on the toilet while you douche.

Once the hose is in place, you stay seated on the toilet with the pouch held in front of you. Unlike a reusable bulb, there is no need to repeatedly stand up to position and squeeze.

3. Direct hand control. One hand controls the pouch, the other controls the hose.

One hand keeps the hose in place while the other squeezes the pouch, allowing you to easily control the water pressure. Unlike reusable bulbs, the plastic pouch is soft enough to easily squeeze, but firm enough to stand upright on its own.

4. No washing. No drying. No storing.

Refill and repeat as needed. When you are finished, dispose of the pouch and hose. The next time you douche, simply open a fresh sealed Doushaey.

With a reusable bulb, every round means standing up, bending over, reaching behind, inserting, squeezing, then sitting back down to evacuate before doing it all again. How much of the water in your bulb are you actually able to use?

A reusable bulb cannot collapse flat when squeezed, so some of the water can stay trapped inside and send you back to the tap sooner. Doushaey’s soft 200 ml pouch collapses as you squeeze, allowing you to use almost all the water inside. More usable water means fewer refills, fewer interruptions and less stopping and starting.

Does your bulb suck in faecal water during use?

When using your reusable bulb to douche, if you release your grip before removing the nozzle, the bulb can pull faecal water back inside. Doushaey’s soft pouch stays collapsed instead of expanding again, so it does not create the same suction. This means you don't need to continually stop, empty and refill.
