Doushaey proudly supports the following LGBTQIA+ clubs and organisations that create spaces for connection, confidence and belonging.
Melbourne Smashers Badminton Club
With over 300 members, Melbourne Smashers is one of Melbourne’s largest LGBTQIA+ sporting clubs and one of the largest badminton clubs in Victoria.
Based at MSAC in Albert Park, the club welcomes players from beginner through to state level and combines regular badminton sessions with an active social calendar, bringing people from diverse backgrounds together through sport, friendship, inclusion and community.

Queensland Camping Bears
Founded in 2020, QLD Camping Bears has grown into a community of more than 2,000 members and one of Australia’s largest queer outdoor social groups.
Welcoming people from across the LGBTQIA+ community, the group brings people together through camping, outdoor experiences and social events, with belonging, connection and community at its heart.

Harbour City Bears
With more than 1,300 active members, Harbour City Bears is a major part of Sydney’s Bear community.
The not for profit club brings people together through more than 150 events each year, including weekly socials, dance parties, community outings and its major annual festivals, Bear Essentials and Bear Pride. Through friendship, celebration, community involvement and fundraising, Harbour City Bears creates spaces for Bears, their admirers and friends to connect and belong.
